Area Information
1601 Wewatta is bounded by the 16th Street Mall, along which shuttles run the length of Downtown Denver; the 17th Street Transit Mall connecting trains at Union Station to the new Light Rail station, and under which the new Downtown Denver Bus Terminal is being built; and Wewatta and Chestnut streets, which offer automobile and pedestrian access. By the completion of the Denver Union Station project in 2017, an estimated 100,000 people will pass through this area every day.
In addition to its strategic location in the center of Denver's largest transportation gateway, 1601 Wewatta offers instant access to the Highlands Neighborhood, Confluence Park, and the Lower Downtown district.
